Arif Kurnia Wijayanto, S.TP, M.Sc
I am currently a lecturer at the Department of Forest Resources Conservation and Ecotourism, Faculty of Forestry and Environment, IPB University. I work in the Geo-environmental and Geospatial Modeling Laboratory, led by Prof. Lilik Budi Prasetyo. Previously, I was a researcher in the Forests2020 project, funded by the UK Space Agency, from 2017 to 2020. I am also a certified drone pilot, recognized by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation, Ministry of Transportation of Indonesia. My research focuses on the utilization of UAV/drone technology for natural resource management. I have been a reviewer in some journals: Smart Agricultural Technology, Environmental and Sustainability Indicators, Waste Management Bulletin, and Jurnal Manajemen Hutan Tropika. I am currently pursuing my PhD at the Center for Environmental Remote Sensing (CEReS), Chiba University, Japan, through the JSPS RONPAKU (Dissertation PhD) Program. My dissertation is titled "INTEGRATED MULTIDIMENSIONAL UAV IMAGING ANALYSIS FOR RICE BACTERIAL LEAF BLIGHT DISEASE ASSESSMENT"
